LHUPATECH SCHENECTADY SKIN README

"LHUPATECH Schenectady"

LHUPATECH has build in August 2006 his 2nd skin for
DW Jukebox and has called it "Schenectady" simply because
at the time, the author haven't any name for the new DW
Jukebox skin! But, on author's desk, a General Electric capacitor
made in Schenectady has given the idea to the skin builder to name
the new skin "SCHENECTADY"(A town in N.Y. of the U. S.) that
has hosted the largest General Electric headquarters and plant complex
for years and it stills to be a highly industrial city especially in
electronic and electric industry ex. chemicals and other consumables
for the electricity and electronic industry.

The "Schenectady" name and GUI design match well the new skin project for
the user creativity orientation! This, incitates the user to build himself
his cabinetry and circuitry to get his jukebox! This should give hundreds
of cabinet versions of the LHUPATECH Schenectady... No limits to the
imagination!!!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The LHUPATECH Schenectady skin has been updated and improved
in many points especially the resolution. Now, using the new
DW Jukebox's skin shifting feature, that permits to the user
or skin builder to include several skins or "sub" skins in the
same skin to add awesome skin temperature changes and multi-language
possibilities! Actually, the LHUPATECH skins are build for 4-3 screens
but, 16-9 versions should be available sooner.

So, the LHUPATECH Schenectady skin is a specialty skin for cabinet
making applications and the GUI includes only readouts and the
selecting panel itself. All controls should be provided by the
user using switchboards, keyboards and other electrical parts
dedicated to his jukebox cabinet.for this, the mouse has been disabled
in the jukebox.ini file because absolutely no clickable controls are
present on the GUI except the title fields.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

THE KIT INCLUDES:

- The folder that includes the
jukebox and control files specifically modified to this skin.

- The folder that includes the four screenshots of the two lighting
effects in two languages (English, French).

- The "skins" folder to be copied in the DW jukebox folder.

TO INSTALL THE SKIN

The user should install the two jukebox.ini and controls.ini files
before copying the skin itself in the "skins" folder - these files
are ready to use for this skin.

TO SHITFT SKINS

The user has the possibility to change the lighting effect of that skin
and also change the GUI languages (English, French).

The shifting order is: 1-2-3-4 and recycle if only the F10 button is used.
Otherwise, the BTN_SKIN_NEXT and BTN_SKIN_PREV keys can be used to cycle
between them, or buttons BTN_SKIN_1 through BTN_SKIN_10 can be used to
switch directly to a particular skin (as written in the jukebox.ini file).

Skin-2 = Lhupatech Schenectady Real Frontuplight Option (FR)
Skin-3 = Lhupatech Schenectady Real Backlight Option (EN)
Skin-4 = Lhupatech Schenectady Real Backlight Option (FR)

SOUNDS

Sounds are provided to anyone who use the DW Jukebox only on a PC. If the
user projects to use it (the PC) in a cabinet, it's not necessary to keep sounds on
because the sounds are naturally generated by the use of the physical devices
themselves and it's possible to disable it as it follows:

1 - Locate and open each of 4 skin files

2 - Locate the "SOUNDS" part in the botton of the skin text of each
    of the 4 skins.

3 - Highlight the whole "SOUNDS" part

4 - Then, right click and do "delete"
(So, the entire sound text should be deleted)

5 - Save the changes to the skin file but never rename this!
(Do this for each of the 4 skin files!)

6 - Restart DW Jukebox and all the sound effects should be
    disappeared!

There is no problem If the user opts anyway to keep sounds on in
cabinet!

ENABLING MOUSE FOR THIS SKIN

The mouse has been disabled for this skin (see above). But, if the user
wants to use the mouse anyway while the DW Jukebox playing, proceed as
it follows:

1 - Locate the jukebox.ini file and then, open it

2 - Locate the "MOUSE" part and then, change "mouse disabled" for
    "mouse enabled" by rewriting it.

3 - Save the changes to the jukebox.ini file but never rename it!

4 - Restart DW Jukebox and the mouse cursor should appear on the
    jukebox GUI.

For the regular skinmaker of DW Jukebox, all of that skin can be adapted to
fit his needs but it's truly recommended to make a copy of the original prior to
make any modifications in case of problems!

Thank you for using LHUPATECH's DW Jukebox skins and
have fun!
